Loren DiGiorgi I was (and still am!) a HUGE fan of Klaatu ever since I got their first album in 1977. Dee's vocals and guitar really shine in this reflective piece.

about

A song about what happens to everyone.

lyrics

I said to Alice
girl I can't go with you.
Bear me no malice
girl but I've been untrue.

Girl you're taking me down with you
Down with you
Girl you're washing me out to see
Whatever is left of me.

I said to the doctor
get me your answer now.
Though you're the Doctor
I'll listen anyhow.

Sir you're taking me down with you
Down across and through
Sir you're dumping me out to see
Whatever is left of me.

I said to my sorrow
let us not fool this way
Maybe tomorrow
really will be a better day.

You you're taking me down with you
Down with you.
You you're calling me back to see
Whatever is left of me.
